Gday all, just chasing some ideas on the best places to kite to keep it safe for me and others. i started out towards the end of last season and got to the stage of getting on the board and cruising for a bit, crashing etc you know the newbie drill. cant wait to get some hours of practice in to get it dialled, hopefully this sundays southerlys is gonna be the start of it, any recomendations on good beaches with space to practice? i dont mind travelling, have gone as far as ledge for a bit of empty space before.

Saftey Bay, out the front of the point in front of the yacht club will work in Sundays SSE. It's shallow and the long spit you can walk out on makes it super learner friendly. It's a bit choppy but not too bad. There are usually learners down there so you shouldn't cop too much flack teabagging downwind. Just try to be as safe and predictable as possible.
