I live in Mandurah and have just completed my Kite surfing lessons my question is which location out of Safety Bay, Woodman Point, Mandurah Estuary are the best to learn at ?

I am aware that the estuary is good in most easterly winds but if you could let me know which place is best for beginners that would be great?

I was thinking safety bay would be the best but am unsure where exactly to go which point on the map is the best for beginners 1,2 or 3? And can you also advise what wind direction I would be looking for in this location ?

If you live in Mandurah,

Kite Beach, Wannanup (Peel Inlet) would have to be your go-to spot for learning to kite.

It's kiteable on a SW seabreeze, all the way thru to SSW, S, SE, E and NE on the compass.

If you're thinking safety bay go to number 3. Number 1 is on shore with massive crowds and egos, number 2 also dead on shore as well as supposedly restricted to school with permit as its a sanctuary though barely policed. Instructor would hopefully had taught you to kite cross/on shore locations till confidently going up wind?
