Hey peeps,
Just been trying unhooked sbend and landed a couple but struggling a lil... can u do them hooked in??? i know its not a legit Sbend but just to help with the rotation???

Yeah, it's called a frontroll.

Seriously though no, board has to be above your head.
What's the problem? Took me a while as I kept trying to time my pop off chop, went to flat water and it all just clicked.

Also speed is you friend with s-bends and keep sniffing that armpit until your around.

Just either over rotate or get hung up and under rotating . But cheers for the advice I'll give it a rip!

Stalling is usually due to either not powered enough, bad pop or not keeping your head turned until you're all the way round.
With over rotation, keeping your kite low will stop this.

You want to be doing powered raileys with your kite low first, to get s-bends. Focus on the pop more than the rotation.

i had the same problem when i was first learning s-bends, i found that it is easiest if you practice unhooked from rolls heaps and slowly work at extending your legs into a raley more each time, if that doesnt work you can pop into a normal raley and throw your head foward over your shoulders, just practice heaps and the more speed and pop the easier it is, but make sure you keep your kite at 45 degrees.

flat water makes so so so so much difference, just as above, look where you want to be going and your body will follow
