This one is fairly straightforward - IF YOU HAVE A CLEAR SANDY BOTTOM TO LAUNCH. You also have to avoid bridle tangles when flipping the kite and make sure you dont step downwind of any of the lines. Its not something for a beginner to try - you need to know what to avoid and what to do if something goes wrong. This isn't a suitable method if there are any waves.
There are other ways, but they tend to depend on the location, conditions and kite. Waves will manage to screw up a lot of drift launches.
