Funny, same thing happened to me. Though I did look at mine while pumping up and stupidly though 'argh should be right'.
To answer your question though I find that self launching and landing really knocks them about as they are quite a soft line. Lasted about 18 months.
Does anyone coat their lines (p lines or from the bar) with vasaline or something similar. I've always done it on boats but not keen to have a sand magnet on my gear.
Oh really? Must be a common thing for them to wear out..? When I went to ZU to order some new ones there was another octane in there with busted p lines.
Just recently had the chicken loop depower rope snap too.
Nuh man never coated my lines in Vaseline? I got told to melt wax into the chicken loop rope. Havnt done it tho. Is it recommended?
