Been looking around at buying a kite to fly with my daughter ( she has he own little kite ) and was looking into something that can relaunch.

4 days later and way to much time in front of the computer sees me looking at these two trainer kites.

I am looking for something for a bit of fun & if that can later turn into kiting I can justify the expense.

Can anyone advise what kite would be better out of these two ?

Thanks for your time, Nick

Hi Nick,

I don't know about KP, but when I bought my trainer kite it was a Slingshot B2 (2m) which I payed $200.00 for from my local shop.

They offered to buy it back off me at anytime for $150.00......that's how popular they are.

5 years later I still have it,,,,,I guarantee u will be fighting ur daughter for it, they are a bag load of fun!

I would go the Ozone, and if u want to get a little more serious have a look at the Ozone Uno.

Try not to get hooked

Hey Super Newbie!

Just to chime in - I am one of the owners of Ocean Rodeo - but I have to say, I think your best choice is our 2m React. The kite comes as a 4 line trainer kite which will teach your daughter: rigging, flying, sheeting control and how to water re-launch all with one kite. What's more, with a proper bar and line set she can also body drag with the kite. However, the real clincher are these last 2 points: the kite's bag turns into a trainer harness and it comes with a $50 gift certificate towards lessons...

Please email [email protected] if you have any other product questions. Our staff can then also help connect you with the closest .AU dealer!
