Even more fun when the winds are kicken there is a video here with my son and sligshot b-two and a bogie board (title who would of thought). Any trainer kite will do it teaches so much. where all the power is and where it is safe wind . It is also good to take for the others in the family to play with while you are out boarding .

They teach you essential kite flying skills. You can learn these skills in complete safety and in so many more locations, because the kite size is appropriate and will not lift you or drag you into solid objects.
Get one with a 3rd line safety system, so you can practice letting go of the bar in an emergency and to self land the trainer kite.
Ozone Imp trainer kite is the best on the market IMO (I sell them). So do all the dealers listed here. www.ozonekites.com.au
