Don't know how else to put it but have been trapped kiting on surfboards for the last 3 years.Time too broaden my horizons and try it twin tip style.
Have never been twin tippin so have no idea what i will like.
If you got a suggestion for someone that loves the grip of a surf board for carving around on downwinders also don't mind a bit off a boost either.[}:)]
About me-95kg over 40yrs go out in any wind and unlike those around me who have the luxury of going kiting when it is butter smooth I don't mind if it is choppy as.
Keen to find out from those that may understand what would suit. Size and style???
Thanks for your input I do understand this gets asked a bit.

Just changed to the shinn monk 135 after a couple of seasons on north they sent that common here but if you get a chance take one out, I've passed this board around down my local spot and usually have to sit and wait to get it back, followed by where cam I buy one from, try a few brands then take this out , good luck

I have read some good reviews on the Airush Hammer. If you want to ride waves with a twintip this board seems like a good option. On your weight I would suggest the 144 .

Not too many for sale though ,I think people hang on to them for a good reason.

Not after riding tt in waves teabag got the shed full of boards for that.Just after something not too far a field from that I guess for the flat water.
Saying that I have had the pleasure of finnally getting out on a North Jamie 132. Notched up 2 solid sessions on it but have been wandering if my board skills left me wanting more from it?
Like too try others but not all if you know what I mean
Thanks for the feedback.
Cheers.

I have a Monk, but am not experienced enough to compare it - can just say its a very nice board.

Most of the info on it is here

kiteboarder.co.uk/kitesurfing/shinn-2011-product-info-demo-and-feedback-thread-43466-195

And a headcam view of John Barber riding one.

Nice video Terminal. You can indeed fly 21 Dec.. Looks like 'Brass Monkey weather'!!

Good to see bonnie Scotland too In actual fact, it was probably nice to get a relatively warm SW at that time of year.

Thanks for posting.
