What is a good board size, I'm riding a 138. Looking at getting a new board but not sure what size?

+1 on the 138.

Make sure you try putting your feet in the foot holsters (can't think of the word for them!) as my mate didn't like his. You should be able to curl your toes and feel like you're holding the board.

Background info a bit light on here.
But yep 138 is a pretty good size.
But then saying that I do know a Kiter who reckons his 134 is way better.

Sorry couldn't resist

Measure from armpit to ground, so when standing next to board it tucks into your armpit, whilst standing straight.....perfect size! next just choose correct kite size
I vote on CB tempo 140.

Rider weight? Wind strengths? Style of riding? All important imo when choosing, most important width you can go a lot shorter with a bit more width.and it gives more surface area

At you weight a 135 x 42 would-be plenty, carnt comment on the tonas but I've owned and rode the others, I'm on the shinns and love them the xenon was a very nice board underfoot, I wouldn't recommend a model as you're into a different style of riding

im on the shinn monk, does all that i want superbly, its not a freestyle board but has some great qualities, the supershinn is shinns freestyle board but has some of the monk in it, theyve a lot more rocker than your underground, ive ridden the board your on and had trouble with the nose digging needed a lot of backfoot pressure, the are a few videos of the shinns in action on shinnworld a very underestimated brand imo, demo demo demo

Went into Kitepower and checked out the Tona Pop. Nice piece of kit. Just not sure if i'm ready for boots!? Sick looking board though.
Anyone else riding the tona pop?
