Hi All I'm writing to see if anybody has had a similar experience with the bandit kite or unhooking in general.

Im at the level where it's time to start unhooking but I keep running into an issue where I don't lose any power riding down towards the kite, If i have too much power riding down towards the kite it's almost impossible to hook back up again - to my knowledge this is suggesting the kite I am using is to big for the conditions. If I don't use this size however and opt for a smaller kite i don't feel powered up enough to load and pop(I just pull against the kite and stall out) something I believe may have something to do with the low end of the bandit kites

Can anybody point out the flaw in my tactics so I can continue progressing?

Cheers

buy a c kite.

bandit seems to have constant pull so will not slack and release, or muscle through the trick and take the load through your arms.

Try riding faster with a little less power you need to change direction deliberately not progressively to release pressure, lines don't need to go slack to unhook.

Hey mate I went from a bandit 6 to c kites to go down the freestyle path, i found that if you went for a pass it would rip yours arms off.
Not the best freestyle kite but definitely not the worst
