Found couple of reviews, everything seems solid. Classic Cabrinha.

Could it be used as "lightwind" with 140/42 flat TT, at least 10 to 16-17 knots, 70kg, beginner in hm, flat-minimum chop?
Does it stay in the air little under 10 kts?

Anyone did "no pulleys" mod on this kite like on some other older kites?

Asking only because i could have deal of the century since my 10' 12m Cab Switchy (barely flying in about 10-11 kts) could have it's funereal soon. I presume they have similar power. Also very possible to use it on snow, cruising in the field on a snowboard.

Park n ride for now.
Thx

I had the 14m Vector and it is safe and reliable. At your weight, you might be okay in ten knots, but it will right on the edge.

It is a good all-rounder kite and will have a lot more grunt than the 12m Switchy.

It was a sad day when I split the 14m in half in a tree.

Damn, really a shame!
I try to weight out between 12 switchy and this. According to specs, its little lighter so it could stay in the air 1-2 knots under in comparison to switchblade, well i think it can at least, with 2 struts less too.
It probably needs little work before it gets some speed right?
Can it handle 16-17 kts?

At 70kgs I think a 14m kite is too big. The wind range for you would be small and annoying particularly in gusty conditions. I fly nothing bigger than a 10m Ozone Reo (surf kite) at my weight of 64kg. As I've said before a light wind board would be more beneficial.

For my weight (100kgs), yes.

For your weight, you might be fine de-powered.

Yeah, was little worried it would be 2 much when it picks up.
12m getting my ass around pretty easy in similar winds so... better stay off. Ill consider some door.
Thx!

My first ever kite was a 14m 2012 Vector. Great kite for a big frame. (I am 110kg.) Really good wind range on them and are bullet proof.

Bah like KIT33Rr said, it would be 2 much for me, very narrow range yes. 70% winds here are gusty so it would probably yank my bottom 2 much. Summer winds can be from 12-21 kts and sometimes 10, gusting to 17-18 :\
Lw board and 12m, just need to find light kite.
Thx
