Hi all,
Just wondering what size an impact vest should be? I read somewhere you should aim for something a little tighter then usually because it stretches when its wet. I picked up a liquid force impact vest in a medium (which fits 101 - 106 chest and Im 105), but when wearing it it's quite short and tight. Have I got the right size or should I have got the large?

Have you tried it out in the water yet?
Most of the wake/waterskiing impact vest/PFD combo's ive used recently needed to be really snug and tight on land and they do loosen up a lot as soon as they get wet.
As for it being short - that's probably intentional so you can wear a waist harness with it.

As long as tried it on it should be right you want it tight but not uncomfortable .The liquid force ones are a smaller fit than some of the others out their but they fit well. im 72KGs and 5ft10 and im a large but i dont know my chest size.

Hmmm, Im 5'10" and 87kg maybe I should of gone for the Large.... Anyone want to buy a brand new Medium LF impact vest??
