i reckon an 11-12 would be fine. 12m are pretty common.

Covering 10-15 is going to be a tough ask starting out. I'm about your size and my main 15-19 kite is an 11m, I use a 17m for 9-15 and a 9m for 19+. its easier to learn in 17-25 knots range, as when you start you'll just be trying to body drag and get up on your board. You will need pretty good kite handling skills to stay moving under 15knots even with a bigger kite, which you wont have at the start.

Long way round to answer your question I'd go an 11 or 12 meter in one of the all round type kites. Use a couple of boards to cover a bigger wind range to start off with, but make your main board say a 135x42 or there abouts. The guys at the kite shop can set you in the right direction.

Go for the 12m to start with then once you have a bit more money saved up you can get a 9 for those stronger days. I'm 92kg and had a 9m and 11m but got rid of the 11 for the 12. Also depends a bit on your location

If you can afford it, get a 13 to learn on and then add a 10 or 11 for stronger winds. At 95 kg you will struggle to learn on a smaller kite and on a 12 you will need at least 15 knts to get going. That said, you're likely to lose a few kg's when you start kiting regularly.

Im 73 kgs and have been riding for years i use a 11 bandit in that wind range .So my advice is go for a 13 or 14mtr or a 12mtr and a big board ,Remember its easier on a big kite, just get one with a good safety system.
Now the board ide say most guys get a board thats too small i ride a 138 *39 nobile 50/50 in all conditions 8knts to 40knts freestyle and surf ,so as a bigger guy just starting out make sure you get a descent sized board [138=145 ] Its like surfing start big make it easy,
When i teach i usually use a 163 or 151 so 138=145 arnt that big
Hope tho helps

Hi
My mate was asking what he should get... Anther Newbie... 95kg, was thinking about a catalyst... Better a 10m or 12m... Or north Park 11m... With a 139x41 board.

I bought my 2013 10m Cat off of a 100kg guy who said too underpowered...

Advice always appreciated
