I am travelling from Canada to the Sunshine Coast, Qld, in late Oct/Nov, 2013. Due to airline weight restrictions, I can only bring one kite with me. I am an 80Kg female with 10, 12 & 14m options. Which kite is going to get me the most days on the water between Caloundra, Maroochydore, Noosa and Fiji on the way home? I am thinking 12m?

If you are on twin tip, I'd bring the 12m
I'm 62kg and only have a 10m at the moment. Kite Maroochydore mostly.

hi there, depends on the prevailing winds on your spot, and your weight...and the kind of board you ride.
We've put together a rudimentary calculator for at kitestat.com you can toy with - feedback appreciated..
happy surfing!

are they bow kites? c kites?

bring the one with the widest wind range. I personally would go the 12m. just because I HATE missing a day due to not enough wind and ill deal with being over powerd easy. 14m to slow turning boreing.

anyways go to the manufacturers website and write down each ones wind range.

Thanks everyone for your advice. My kites are Airrush Lithium's and I have a twin tip. I think I will go with the general consensus - 12m!
