Hey guys.
I am not new to kite surfing, but have started exploring more and more about jumps and the "load and pop".
It's great that I can now LnP (ooh that sounded politically ominous!), but the heights I am getting are around the 15 to 20foot range, as comparing myself to the height of the trees on the beach (maybe 3 to 4m tall tea trees).
Are those sort of heights "normal" especially on moderate winds around 15knots for a rider in the high 70kg mark?
What sort of height/lift should I be aiming at? Higher than the trees? I would love to, but are there issues with kite control up there that change the game slightly?
Thanks in advance.

15knots is low wind, if your getting 20ft that's good.

High enough to put a grin on your face is all that matters, really

Just keep your kite at zenith as you come down and drive it left or right, depending on where you want to go when you're about to land. Don't just land with the kite at 12, or your fall could be hard.

Or high enough to bring fear into the equation.

As you get used to it, you gotta go higher and higher to get the grins. Like a drug, innit?

It's not the height that's important. It's how well you land it. Do it with style and the height doesn't matter.
