Im new here, so, hi!

After wanting to give kitesurfing a go for ages, i finally took it up in Noosa in January and pretty swiftly bought myself the gear (this ****'s addictive im sure you'll all agree!). But then i had to head to the outback and havent been on my board since. No im sitting on my ass in sydney wondering what to do next.

Sooo, i need inspiration. Where should i go (anywhere in Australia)? Is there even anywhere a beginner can go in winter where im not going to get into too much trouble? I'll be gutted if ive been lugging my kite and board around and i cant use it!

You might have to be a bit more specific for us to help.

Are you looking for somewhere to go this weekend or are you flexible enough that you are asking where you should go for the next 6 months?

Naturally the answers will be somewhat different.

For my two bobs if you are looking for somewhere to go for winter then head to Cairns. NQ and the pacific islands are the best place in Australasia during winter if you are looking for wind.
