i learnt on a vegas dont think it realy matters what you learn on ul end up trashin it any way. best to buy second hand kinda wish i did that way you can buy a shiny new one after you know what you realy want

yep thats right. dont get fooled by the price of a cheap kite. anything from 2009 onwards should be your target... just make sure you get taught how to use the kite you buy because it will probably be a lot different to the one you first had lessons on.

Agree completely - a great kite.
But for learning ???? ...... maybe not the sharpest learning curve option out there.
But as to the first question

The Noise is a fast and responsive kite - no doubt about that.
Its not a sluggish pussy-easy school kite but if your school/instructor offers great instruction on preliminaries (like a solid trainer kite or short line program) then no reason not to slip into learning onto a slightly advanced kite like the Noise.
Esp true if you are heading towards a true kite "surfing" future. Why not learn on the kite you are going to want to be flying.

My suggestion that the RPM may not be the easiest or best kite to learn on was just for others wanting info on whats "best" for learning. There are easier kites to fly that will get your kite skills up there quicker. (not much in it really these days as long as ppl stay away from straight 'C' kites)
Having learnt on an RPM isnt really a problem - esp now that ur rocking and loving ur kite. They are an awesome choice for lots of people.
