Board size doesn't really matter. If you're not rotating enough then just launch into it a bit harder. It's not rocket science. Have the kite powered but drifting up towards top of window (but don't send it), pull bar in fully (both hands) just as you hit a bit of chop, cut board hard upwind 5m before chop and continue that carve in the up over your shoulder direction as you come off the chop. Fling your head and shoulders up and back harder if you're not rotating enough. When you go 720 by accident you'll know you're launching too hard.
If you want more time & slower rotation, send the kite a bit & redirect just before landing.
