i am in need of advice, i finished my lessons a few month ago, now i am looking for somme gear. The problem is that i don't know what to buy. Futhermore i am in australia for a year in brisbane and can't seem to get info on the wind (all year round) in that area.
I am 73kg, and i am looking for a beginner kite, plus i am on a budget (second hand gear). any sugestion ? what brand and which model ?

In Brisbane at 73kg you main kite will be an 11M or 12M. You want something that relaunches easily and has good depower when you let go of the bar. Look for a good used 2008 -2012 Cabrinha Switchblade or Crossbow. Preferably get a 4 line kite there are several brands that you can look for including Ozone, Slingshot, North, etc. Better still drop in to see the guys at Kitepower in Redcliffe and look through their used gear and ask their advice.
