If all bars are tuned the same way regarding line length what happens if you use a bow kite bar that gives 90-100% depower(on its recomended kite) on a C-kite which say normally only has 40-50% depower with its recomended bar ?
It's not as simple as line length, as you suggest. As LiveToFly points out, most C kites will still pull like a train with slack back lines. I know this from personal experience. It's all to do with the cut of the kite and where the lines are attached. Remember, when you depower a kite you are altering the angle of attack of the kite so as to equalise the pressure on both sides of the "wing". C kites can not achieve the same angle of attack as bows.
