Obviously here are many types of C kites (old, new, bridled hybrids) and corresponding depower could be as little as 20-30%, say on an old fuel. As long as the number of lines is the same then it is possible to tune a bow bar and lines to use on a c kite however, the depower will not be increased by using a bow bar and lines as c kites pretty much fly off the front lines. It is really a pointless excercise, unless you dont have the c kite bar.

The most important thing is ensure the safety ditch system works as these are quite different between kite types. Bow kites usually ditch to the front lines while c kites usually ditch to one back line, so if applicable, you could attach your leash to one of the oh ****'s (or whatever safety mechanism that particular c kite has) and carefully test that it works properly before hitting the water.
