Could do worse! The ride is a very user friendly kite, designed for stability.

The only issue is the size. 12m isn't small. I ride a 12m (Naish Park) and am 105 kegs. I kite in Perth where the wind blows hard. 17-23 knots is perfect for me.
The Ride has a good bottom end, I believe, so a smaller guy might want a smaller kite, unless the area you kite is a bit less blowy.

Always a good idea to include your size and kiting location when posting so the crew can give you a more informed opinion.
