Hi,
I got a 2006 Globekites Kite size11.0 from a friend and the challenge was to inflate the middle struts and the leading edge one cause the valves let the air out as soon as i move the pump head to close the valve but the outer struts are fine , do you know why and how can it be rectified ?

Awaiting your kind reply .

Thanks

Do the inflate valves have small stopper balls in them? I imagine they would. It's easier to inflate the struts before the leading edge. Turn the struts upside down when pumped up so that the little ball sits at the bottom when you pull out the nozzle. Try pulling the nozzle out quickly so that the pressure pushed the ball against the hole and then you can close the valve.

If you can't recover them just replace them with stick on valves. Happened to my Vagas when a friend left the deflate pin in when packing up. Then it sat for the winter and coun't be saved.
