Hey guys!
I just moved to perth area! am from the uk, i be heading down to safety bay areas to kite so i was wondering whats the normal size kite i will be needing for your summer?? as not sure what the wind normally blows hear.am 80kg so i was thinking about a 10m? slingshot rally to start off with!!
in the uk i had a 9 and 12 that done me well for most winds over their.
any input will be good guy cheers

yo , depends on weight and what you ride ,i live in the middle of wa generally the winds are a bit stronger here, i have an 8,9 11 17 quiver, the 8 was used once last summer the 9 maybe 10 times with the 11 being used the most , i had the 17 out heaps aswell, i weigh 90kgs and ride a 135 twinny, however i reckon this year looking at the winter weather graphs its gonna be a bit stronger, if your on a twinny and have a bit of weight to you the 9 will be fine, the rallys have plenty of depower from what ive read, enjoy your time in wa

i bought a 10 for last summer but still used the 14 alot, but they reckon its gonna blow here in WA this season, maybe keep some cash handy for another kite

a 12 for this time of the year will be better, but when the seabreezes are in you'll skip the 10 for an 8
