in light cross off wind , is it posible to fly the kite on the other side of the wave to generate aperant wind ?? if not what is a good way to deal with the light wind?

Last time I looked kiting was a wind sport not a breeze sport.
Find another activity.
Light offshore conditions? Go surfing.
Not suitable conditions for a kite.
