Had some issues with my first kite bought in Queensland sent kite back asking for a replacement and smaller kite, I have had 2 sessions of lessons and the company has sent an 2011, 11 meter blade prime kite. Im a bit cautious as I thought C hybrid kite were not advised for newbies but the company assured me that with proper training this kite would be suitable? any comment about the suitablility of this kite I'm from Adelaide and would be kiting at Port Parham

Sorry you been left hanging apnea
Can't help with the Blade advice/suitability but judging from the response you left on "Get lessons" thread, you have started a relationship with your new local kite school in SA. Maybe have a chat to them, you could possibly do your next lessons on your own kite so you feel better about it.
Cheers

Everything I've read about the prime is that it's an experienced riders kite. The trigger would be the way to go.

Hey,

I started kiting in early April 2012 and learnt on a C hybrid kite (Ozone C4).

These kites would be fairly similar and I had no problems learning with it.

In my opinion it would be a good kite to grow into. I was told not to get a c hybrid as my first kite and I am glad that I didn't listen because now when I fly other non c hybrid kites they feel rough.

The c hydrids have good depower, easy relaunch and are good fun.

Blade Prime is a beast, very quick and responsive....! definitely is for experienced riders, however I had made the same mistake when I was learning with that kite and I decided to keep it and keep progressing with it....! once you feel in control she will be your slave give it time and patient and when you get it you will love it....! since three seasons I still ride with it....! my learning curve has improved considerately....! but respect your limits.....!

control that beast .....!
