Which of these two kite boards would be better for jumping?
I'm 180 cm 80kg and 'advanced beginner'-good to go upwind on flat and chop, starting with jumps and transitions.
Boards to chose from are :
rrd poison 135x43 Or
2009 rrd placebo 133x40 ?
Thanks for your thoughts /opinion

Try and get a demo on them - everyone has their own preferences, just cos its good on paper or good for someone else don't mean you'll be happy on it. try as many diff boards as you can - I ended up buying something I never thought I would ( I wasn't too keen on the graphics) but I had a go on my mates gear and really liked it. job done

Why is that the only choice?
I would have thought you'd get away with a 10m kite on the 135x43 board but would probably need a 12m for the smaller board with the same wind speed.

Having said that, you could also handle a bigger kite by using the smaller board and therefore should be able to jump higher, further, longer because you are using a bigger kite!

IMHO If the board sizes were closer together then the style of board would be more relevant.

Hope this helps.
