Grab your safety leash, wrap it around a tree then unwind your lines and untangle them as if you were connecting to your kite. Connect all 4 pigtails of your lines to the safety leash clip and then walk back to your bar.

Grab the bar (stand up) and pull the lines tight. Your bar should just be able to touch the top of the chicken loop if you pull really hard. If it touches easily, or on one side only etc, you know your lines are uneven.

You may need to also check the bridal lines on the kite and see if these have stretched. This is less likely however than your bar lines.

It is normal to have a little slack in the steering lines. It will also be worse if your bar is too narrow for the kite.

If all that is too hard or confusing, take it to a shop or better still an instructor at the beach for help.

I had the same thing on my switchblade 2010 (i am a newbie but i think it has medium to hard bar pressure, not so light i would say). Tuning the bar solved line slack, put more tension on lines and kite got more responsive.

Don't know about difference in bars (lines) but principle is the same, only thing different is maybe the way they left "more line length" to adjust.
Try yourself, if problem isn't solved, go to the local shop, they can always help. Sometimes doesn't even come from factory fully tuned.
