Hi,

Just getting up on the board now and feeling good about it after must frustration, BUT when I am self landing the kite
I have the kite in nuteral sitting om it wing tip on the beach but when I pull the upper centre line to drop the kite it
lefts off and rolls 180 degrees. I still have control of it and so I walk up along the upper centre line and the grab the kite and you know the rest.

Why is the kite rolling 180 dgrees when it should just flop down. What am I doing wrong please anyone help ???

regards

Teddy

Might sound like I'm nitpicking, but your kite is never at Neutral unless its locked in the boot of your car!!! Neutral implies no power, which is a reason people get into trouble, when they think that the edge of the wind window "the window" is a safe place to put their kite. The edge of the wind window is the point from which a kite can accelerate from and begin to produce maximum power, speed and lift.
Its just the Edge of the window. Watch the video, it will explain how to self land safely, if you have any other questions let us know.
