so im having big problems with unhooked kitelooping ozones 2015 c4 its an 11m with 45cm bar (every size smallers on a 38cm ?!?!)

so stock setting (ships with newschool on leading edge and center wingtips) kite doesnt want to pop upto zenith and sits to deep in wind window when unhooked it results in a pissy fast kiteloop on a dot resulting in no power.

freeride setting on leading edge wingtips middle setting results in a little bit better (i think) kite flys a touch more forward in wind window tho may be dreaming (conditions insanely gusty) still takeing to long to get to 12oclock to unhook as it wants sit to deep in window and when unhooked and fishpoled results in a quick kiteloop no power

freeride with backline set to very end of wingtip (furthest from leading edge) again horrible conditions gusty/under powered so not a true test felt a little bit better but still absolutely MILES off from what i experience on ..... at least a dozen kites of various makes models and sizes

so ive got one last setting to try.

im fish poling with back hand close as it can get to center line and bringing my other hand as close to it as possible without being ontop of it.

just hoping some of you guys can tell me how you have your c4 setup for unhooked kite looping and your technique. nearly at the end of my tether so to speak with this brand new kite. its by no means a new trick for me and something i have been doing for few years now just cant get anywhere near enough power out of this new kite because it spins to fast. kite was tested in light winds but when its light winds on my other kites it just means i dont have to depower the kite to unhook when its nearly at 12

Trimming the kite will reduce the turning. increasing the diameter of the loop.or don't fish stick the bar as hard.or change the wing tip point closer the the leading edge reduces turn . increasing power.i ride vegas so say exactly. But a good rule of thumb. Is trim the kite to ride with the bar in the middle to lower and unhook from there to find the sweet spot and the power need can be adjusted from there

Not a power issue that can be fixed by slowing the rotation senki im afraid. Still turns on a dime and doesnt come upto zenith to allow quick unhooking.

Turn the bar less ? As with all kites they still respond unhooked .C4 are the best ! lol

you will need to set the flying lines on the furtherest setting from the leading edge and unhook at 45 degrees not zenith. i found you also need to be overpowered but depower the trim so that you can unhook. i know that unhooking at 12 and fishpole technique worked on other kites of mine aswell but for c4 need to be fishpoleing well before zenith least by 11 or 1 oclock
