i am just getting started into kitesurfing and was wondering if someone can tell me if this is a good deal...
2nd hand slingshot Rev 11m 2009 $500
Slingshot Misfit 2013 ex demo $649
Mystic Shadow large last season new $200
ozone ignition trainer 2.5mtr 2nd hand $220
just want to know if they are a good price.
also anyone know of some good places to get some training from around central coast NSW.

I'm only new to this all to so Im not gonna tell you if the rev is a suitable beginner kite or not but all I will say is spend some time trolling the classifieds here and on gumtree. I picked up some really cheap gear from both including a 2012 dakine renegade harness in perfect condition for $80 delivered to me with a safety leash and board leash. A 2011 Griffin chimera 10.5 delivered to me for $250. Also in good nick. There are bargains to be had for beginners. Also my trainner hired me a trainer for $50 for as long as I needed it. Just my two cents on it

hmm, ohh well. i got it all from a store in sydney. if they didn't do a good job i simply wont go back there when i upgrade.

hmmmm.... buyers remorse. Of course the time to ask for opinions is before you part with the cash. You got a kite, board and harness for $1349 which sounds quite good . Although the kite is a bit old it may or may not have been used a lot and should be fine for learning. Having bought it from a shop I would think they have sussed it out. Having bought it from a shop you can return it if there are problems.

the kite is good value and good to learn on, the whole package sounds like a good deal
