Read a little from Europe, sounds like it's had a few changes all around , always enjoyed the cats, just needed to be cranking wind to bring them alive

Realy? You sure your not getting it confused with a C4? I dont recon cats need much wind at all.

Always had to use an extra size or use them in stronger winds, not just me , I'd say they prefer a lighter rider below them though compared to other kites, my 8 cat was my high wind kite or storm kite, wouldn't bother getting it out unless it was 30knts, even in those winds it requires a fair bit of movement to get up to speed, top end though was great , endless

Totally depends on year. 2010-12 were definitely lacking low end but in smaller sizes were storm-kites of choice.

2013-14 much more grunt. 2015 looks similar to 2014 - perhaps a tiny bit higher aspect and more C-ish? Hard to tell just from pics.
