The cabrinah velocity, a proven performer, or 2014 contra for a good saving$$$$, IMHO I reckon the draft will get dropped or re marketed by naish

Didn't consider the velocity , got a bit put off by the price , but definitely something to consider ! I don't know that naish will drop the draft in a hurry though they are due to release another one for 2016 with a new colour scheme, it doesn't appear to be much different from this years model though !

What size light wind kite are you after? And what style do you propose to you use it for?

Just wanted a kite to fill the 10/ 15 knot hole in my quiver and I wanted to give a bigger kite a go ! I ended up buying a 17 m draft !

I've owned/flown the liquid force Nrg 16m and Solo, core 19m, ozone zepher 17m, naish fly 15m and I now own a contra 17m.

I think the contra and ozone were the best for power and handling in the above line up.

The Naish fly was a dog that didn't want to turn and the worst of the bunch. Never tried a Draft though..

Cool .... I waited till all the Racers wanted Chrono's etc and picked up a cheap second hand 19m Edge.

And now all the Chrono Racers will want R1's, so there should be a few second hand chrono's coming up soon too.

I am just a beginner , I don't profess to know much at all about kiting , But I do know that I have begun to really love this sport ,and due to the fact I am the only one in my circle that likes to kite , I get my fix off of seabreeze and by buying and trying out kites I probably have no business getting into at my current level of inexperience . If you want to red thumb me for having a go , then be my guest,I will not be deterred !

Hey Macster I have also flown all these kites bar the solo.
I find it hard to believe that you found the NRG better than the Fly and that the zepher gave you more power than the 19 core. These last 2 kites are not even in the same league when it comes to power.

M8, why were you only looking at these 2 models? It's gr8 ur willing to try stuff and branch out of the circle. Keep it up, light wind kiting is awesome fun and there are heaps less people & cleaner waves out there!

I chose between those two brands because I already own cabrinhas and naish kites , and I am very happy with the quality and performance so I thought I would stick with what I know in that regard !
