Hello all out there

Being very new to this sport I'm in the process of getting myself set up

Anyone had any dealing / experience with this particular board company ?

Are AntiG boards any good ? The pricing certainly is !!!

As I said I'm new to the sport. Will be surfing mostly at Pinnaroo point WA. and I'm 83Kg

Any advice would be very appriciated.

Hey mate,

I've been riding for about four years and bought an AntiG as my second board - I'm 6'4 and my primary board is a 125cm so I wanted something bigger when it was a little lighter.

The graphics came out really well. Haven't got photos handy, but it looks pretty slick.

The board is a LOT softer than I am used to. That's a good thing for my knees but I don't like the lack of response. You can get pop, but again, I find I get a lot more from a stiffer board.

To be honest, at the price, they are a complete fricken bargain. But compare them to a $1000 board and you will for sure notice the difference (heavier for one). But I'm a firm believer that the rider makes the gear look good, not the other way round.

I'd absolutely recommend these boards for a beginner/second board for an advanced rider.

ps. I have trouble getting the foot straps tight enough, but doesn't become an issue until raleys and up.

Must be a long lead time though coming from Taiwan. The old story is you get what you pay for EH.

15days build time on avg. and 4-5days transit.

and as for getting what you pay for. answer = a lot.

and sticking with primary colors in your graphics helps a lot with their printing process.
