Looking for thoughts on these two boards,

I like to do big strapless airs and ride small-medium waves. (co im not that advanced)

These two boards are the same style correct?

Is the global/Wam better?

Let me know your thoughts or other boards i should look into.
i want option to put straps on when its big surf/over 25 knots. Strapless other times.

WAM/Global better only as you want to strap in, otherwise Skater/Whip the go for strapless...

Heres my take on the major differences

Skater-
Thruster. Needs a bit more power than Whip but. Heavier but almost bomb proof.
No straps included.

Whip-
Quad. Good for light wind. Looser feel but gets untidy in bigger stuff. Lighter than the Skater. Comes with straps

Which ever way you go I would suggest a different size for each. For me @ 90kg the Whip in 5'6" and the Skater in 5'9"

Problem is these small wave boards like the whip/skillit/skate all rock in small waves/chop, but become skatey and difficult to manouver when the waves get to head high, particularly with high winds, which is where the wam/global come in.
