Okay I 'll reply, for what its worth.... all the guys I know that ride them like them, I have never heard anything negitive about them. I would say you would be pretty safe with your decision. Have fun with your custom design and enjoy riding it.

These are amazing boards, I have a 137cm Tempo. There is a good review of the Tempo here. Super value for money.

Hey Ran, it seems we are the Cardboards fanatics on this forum - what do you like the most about yours? Which design did you get?

I'm dead keen to get a tempo too. A few questions tho:

-The new quad concave tempo, has the rocker increased significantly and if so, is it worth getting the 137 over the 130 to compensate for loss of light wind action?

-Flex options. Has anyone compared them? Is there much noticeable difference between standard flex and soft flex?

The quad tempo does have a lot of rocker compared to most boards (though no where as much as the Cabrinha Custom). Doesn't seem to slow the board down for some reason. Have only had a very brief ride but happy to post more after more time on one.

Would love to see a size available between the 130 and the 137 !!!

Just ordered a 130 tempo quad. Will be with me by Friday hopefully. Looking like wind for the weekend too, so I will let you know what I think and maybe take some pics to stick up.

Hey Toppleover,

Thanks for the heads up. I spoke to Dan about it and he went away and came up with the 134 x 40 for me. You just can't beat these guys for customer service. I've already ordered the 134 and will be happy to do a full review on it as soon as it hits the water. If it's half as good as the 137 I got to try, I'll be stoked.

Cheers,

FELIX

Cardboards for 3 years.... love em!

133x40 freeride is weapon of choice.

next one will be 138x41

Best service, best quality, best guarantee.

New footpads/straps are awesome.

see website, read testimonials, believe them and order one.

Best decision you will ever make.

Toppleover, the Tempo's are double concave.
However, they are testing quad concave for '09.
You can get that if you specifically ask for it.
There is a previous thread which explains more, worth a read.

A review on the Tempo 137 by a mate. Have tried it and really liked it. I have the new 134 quad concave version on order and due in the next few days.... can't wait.
