Had a session on the 12 yesterday wind was about 20 to 25 knots Ne.
Very similar to the nine , turning speed was a little faster than my 12 raven but not as quick as my 12 torch somewhere in between. Its not the fastest turning 12 I have flown nor is it the slowest. The kite has alot of low down grunt and a great top end especially now with the smart loop, just set it and use the adjustable stopper, very clean system.
Wind range is huge on this kite , no need for a bigger kite especially with the 5,5 fish.Jumping is certainly different to the nine not quite tuned in to the jumping like I did on the nine cult.I would certainly not go any bigger than a 12.Relaunch is piss easy.Maybe I might need to get the 4mtr extensions for the 12 if Im riding on flat water. What is best about these kites in the waves because the kite is under constant tension , when riding a wave and you come down the face a little to fast the kite falls back corrects itself and just follows you down the wave, no falling out of the sky, the smooth power delivery is the smoothest I have ever felt on any kite I have flown.
All in all very happy with the 12 and 9 cult there is a nice overlap in wind ranges with these two kites and I would say it would cover a range of 15 to 32 knots quiet comfortably between the two.
