Car break in's while its a common occurance, heres a couple of suggestions.
to stop the inbreds taking some of your gear.
A buddy of mine has now fitted a security box into the back of his ute ( Bunnings supply them, key, digital code or safe style knob) you put the wallet ph etc into them if you have them with you.
Also leave open the glove box & centre consol, so the thick heads can see that there is nothing there. they are looking for a quick wallet grab or ph.

I have also put on each window on my car " no cash no valuables no phone" so they can look else where I have also had a car alarm fitted + hooked up to the car hornl, so if/when glass is broken or a door is opened it is extremely noisy.

PS
hurry up summer

I have a sign on each of my windows saying my wallet and phone are in the white landcruiser next to me and that there are some ear plugs under the windscreen wiper.
