My mates new atom just arrived. The build quality puts other brands to shame. He's only had it a few days so it will be interesting to see how durable it is over the long term. Anyone had any expoeriences with the atom over a longer period. I have had an SLE and currently have a CULT and after seeing the quality of the Flexifoil are seriously thinking of changing over. A CULT Vs ATOM reply from someone who has had/flown both would be appreciated.

Been flying Ion2's for about 6 months and really like them and bought them for the good build quality also, but just had 2 breakages in one weekend. Snapped line (no real reason) and the second was the line connector at the kite ripped a hole piece out of the kite during a kiteloop. Disappointing from pretty new kites.

IMO Great Kites. Have been riding them six months plus now and rate them highly. Good safety system, four lines, easy relaunch and bomber proof construction.
If I had a small gripe it would be that the safety line ring at the bar wears away with extended use. Have repaired two bars by placing the ring lower and sewing back on with 30lb braided fishing line, good as new.
Agree the swivels could be improved.
Metalmongrel, have heard on the grapevine Kangaroo Island is pretty good Kiting location? Any good waves?
