Straight out of the bag the kite looked very impressive, seems like they have thought of everything which you would expect from there background with paragliding. The attention to detail really was amazing.
Unhooking on the kite was really good for a hybrid, I was a bit worried it would have a bow kite feel to it, but it feels just like your standard C kite in the air. The kite moves quite fast aswell. Kiteloops where nice with a consistent pull through the turn making tricks easier to do.
The windrange of the kite seemed pretty good it was about 20kt when I went out and I felt as if I could have held it down easily in 25kt. When I came in the wind had died to around 12kt and I was still staying upwind but having to work for it.
Water Relaunch was like a bow it almost launched itself.
It has a fifth line safety system on it and the quick release is awesome, so simple to reset and even when riding suicide if you pull your safety it still goes onto the fifth line. Very cool setup
Overall a very nice kite, worth taking one for a ride if you get a chance.

I totally agree. I have just got the 12 and 8 meter. Love them both I have had the 12 out to about 26 and the 8 to around 35 knots. Still didn’t get too hairy but very powered. I believe that I can hold onto them in more. I weigh about 90 with a 133 board. They fly sensational but still getting used to the feel of the C kite. I was flying the Flexifoil Atom but wanted to try something different. Not sure if I am converted to C kites but only time will tell. They look and fly fantastic. As wind1 said TAKE IT OUT, RIDE A DEMO and see for your self. Built really well skid pads in all the right places and seem to me like a good value kite. If you have been kiting for a while and love a grunty kite this is the baby for you.
YES I AM IN LOVE

Hi Axis
I thought Wind1 might have replied by now but i do know he has gone bush for a few weeks out Longreach way.
I think I understand the question so will try to answer for him. Hope this helps.
The 5th line has a second point to hook in. it is a ring at the end of the 5th line
The first leash supplied with the kite is hooked to the chicken loop but does nothing when unhooked, but a second point is available to hook a leash from your harness to the 5th line so it runs suicide on the 5th instead of the mainlines. Hope this makes sense

Sorry guys for the late reply, just got back into civilization!
It is just there so if you are riding suicide and have to pull your safety it will go onto fifth line, instead of in the past riding suicide(leash attached to the chicken loop) you pull your safety and you lose everything. Bye Bye Kite
Hope thats a bit clearer.
