I'm looking at getting the 129 Jaime North board being the 06 model. Anyone ridden one and can you compare to any other boards?

It's a great board! It's perfect for flat water...lots of pop. Um...how heavy are you? The boards seem to be quite small so I think you need to be quite powered up. My friend has one is 80kgs, rides a 05 SS 13m Fuel. He needs it to be over 19+kts to be really happy. He is finding a bit too small for him.

Thanks for the replies. I'm 85 kg and usually ride a 133 and 12m. I've ridden a 129 of a diferent brand and as you said need to be fairly powered. The confusion is that some people say they are slow and some say fast with early planeing. Since I can't get a demo I'm sort of stuck

Too late already got the Jaime and absolutely stoked with it. I find that even if you land a bit out of shape the board seems to correct itself, maybe it's the big fins. But they can also be a down fall especially if you kite in shallow water, they dig in real good!
