Many to choose from.

Flexifoil, Nobile, Blade, Airush, Liquid Force, ABoards....... the list goes on.

It all depends what style of riding you are doing and want to do. And of course how much you want to spend.....

i always bang on about www.cardboarding.com when someone asks info about boards, but thats because they are cheap and a bloody good freestyle board!
least check them out!

north makes some serious freestyle/newschool boards such as the Cesar (132x40) mallory (129x39) and Sky(136x40) (same boards different sizes really).. thers one or two more docile freeride boards like the jaime pro in their range.

Underground boards and I guess cardboards aswell make real nice all rounders that are smooth and comfy to ride and perform pretty darn good..

duno bout naish.. i hear their baords are pretty sick

Airush make a really good starter freeride board called the switch.. or u can get something a bit more agressive and newschooly like the Xpact or u can get a overall freestyle board that handles chop a bit better and has flip tips so u wont nose dive called the Protoy..


i suggest you try out a cardboard or a underground.. then go check out some north and airush gear.. i strongly suggest all 3

Go a Card board. It is a custom board. ring Dan or go to his wed page & pick the board for you, putt your mob ph no' in the ID Tag. so if you loose it. It will be a boomerang. & come back.

I'm in much the same position as Chris-H, except 78kg (i'm riding a prodigy at the mo as well!). I suspect there are plenty of good brands out there & I will be buying 2nd hand cause I'm poor!

Anyone got some advice on what SIZE board I should be thinking about?

what kind of style do you want to ride? Freestyle, wakestyle, waves or freeriding?

i would say try the liquid force comp... it is hands down the bestest board ive ever ridden .. mine is comin in next week. the 131 is a sweet size. i have ridden heaps of other boards from other brands and nothing has come close.
