I'm 78kg and 183cm. Been off the water for a couple of years after I tweaked my good knee (ie two suss knees now ). I like the look of the Haze cos it has plenty of flex - that's got to be good for dodgy knees, right? Question is what size should I get? I'll be riding mostly in small surf, 15-20 knots is the average wind on a good day. My kite will be a 12m Naish Cult.

Go for the 137 x 40, I would say this board will perform at a high level, but still be big enough for you to get planning early and not get too much board loading from lack of surface area. If you knees have heeled well you could go for the 133 x 39, but you will feel more load through your legs due to the smaller area.

Haze is such a sweet ride, so smooth, and it delivers a lot more poop than you would expect from a base range board. The wood core is amazing, it'll change the way you think about kiteboards!

JB

Thanks JB, appreciate your comments. The 137 was my pick also so good to have that confirmed.

Hi didi
i have a 137 haze awesome for dodgy knees or massive wind in big surf, really soft under your feet even on big jumps. If your riding in light conditions you might want to go with the next size up.

Have fun, George

Had a ride on one of these a few days ago. They are so sweet. Didn't expect so much pop from a board so flexi.
A timber core board thats cheaper than a foam core, you cant go wrong...

With a wood core you don't need to go over board with laminates, because the wood core has life. You end up with a smoother more comfortable ride, and more pop. Foam is dead, try and find a top end snowboard that uses foam cores, you can't Wood is far superiour. Naish use the same wood and technique that is used in snowboards (vertically laminated Poplar wood), such a nice ride.
