I spent time recently on a 9 and 12m Duotone Neo. Very nice kites for sure.
I'm wondering how the Reo compares in terms of low end, progressive smooth sheeting power, bar pressure and quickness. Haven't flown any version of the Reo but know it's
highly regarded.

Both exceptional Wave kites My personal choice for me is Reo V5 in conditions I ride in and if not I would be on Neo For me I look at high end and I find that Reo is more stable but yes the Neo seems to have better low end .I ride a lot with team Duotone rider and for me I use one size bigger in Reo You need to demo in high and low end But compare with V5 or V4 Reo Which ever you go for you will be kiting sick wave kite

Both are excellent kites. We tend to find that the Neo suits riders over 85 kilo's a bit better and the Reo suits riders under 85 kilo's. The two kites are very different but both are excellent wave kites. This doesn't mean only heavy riders can ride Neo's or lighter riders can only ride Reo's. It always comes down to matching the requirements of the rider with the offerings of each kite.

The Neo will be a better choice if you do jumping as well as wave riding (see Airton, James C and Mitu. Reo is more responsive and faster to initiate turns. Both drift well and turn quick. It's true that the Neo is better for bottom end and the Reo better in top end, so you should ride a 1m smaller Neo than you would in a Reo. Reo is a better choice if you flick your kite around a lot, but smaller sizes I find are borderline hyper sensitive to bar input. Better to ride small sizes on small bars to reduce this a little.

I'll be interested in hearing AndreC's review as he does nothing but downwind and waves so will be more in tune with the subtleties of each kite more so than myself.
