A mate of mine traded his last years 5'8 for the new 5'11 whip - he wasn't that stoked on it & recently traded it for a 5'2 Nugget.

Can't wipe the grin of his face now

... yep, love mine, just like toppleover's mate, I'm grinning from ear to ear!! .

We even have a his and her's now in the family, bought a 5'2" for the missus. I had a little ride on the 5'2" yesterday and found it quite different to the 5'5" but of course have a similar DNA feel with the 5'2" being more manouverable and less tracking. I haven't tried the Whip, I'm sure its a great board but damn these Nuggets are good!

cheers,

Robbie

At 88kg the 5"2 would probably be the go.

I'm around 84 and the 5"2 is perfect for me, scream upwind on the 12M in around 14 knots.

Just a thought

I have 5.5 nugget and the 5.11 whip x-surf. I am 100kg!

The nugget is the first board i nearly always pull out. Fantastic low wind capability and great upwind abililty.

... and to add, much bigger wind range than advertised, easy to gybe and super fun in waves!
