My Comments: Had it for 1 month the 2012 ,9m argo. Been riding it on 20m lines even at sub 15 knts , delta c shape , dont do much down the line stuff at maroochydore ,but get to get good surfing hacks in and some locked in snowboard manouvres above the lip line at high speed , soft landings with airtime, always a plus , massive upwind capabilities. For me very happy turning speed loads of power 16nts and up, anything below this you might as well have a wank/ sorry beer . Good allround kite with no BS attached , nothing better for my weight , only need one kite and a set of good sized gonads!

hey dudester, maybe you can answer this because I have had no joy in trying to find this out.
I am flying the 11.5 as I weight a few more pies than you. On the website they have settings that correspond to say bb36 or ac 26 etc.
I have a 2012 kite and the only attachment points are 123 and abc plus the three settings for turning and bar pressure. Haven't had the kite long enough to fiddle with every setting, except changing the default factory setting which I didn't really like.
Looking for good drift and lightwind opportunity settings. Have had it set on green for med bar pressure and fast turning, and b3. Have you fiddled with your settings and what have you come up with.
We have had a week of rain and more coming and I haven't been able to get out and mess around with the dif settings. Can you shed some light because the Griffin website is out of date and I can't get any info from anyone else.
Cheers

If your after light wind, add the 4m line extensions that come with the bar, this gives you an extra 2 knots or more bottom end.
I have been using the 9m up to 37 knots so the wind rang is huge.
Re the settings, people like different things, 99% keep the setting on default, wait untill you get some wind, 2b is good,

I have had my 9 for a few weeks now and I am impressed by the performance, especially in wave riding. I have been riding a lot lately in the 15k range on a 9 Argo 2012 and whereas before I would be walking on the beach I can now stay upwind in light winds and have excellent response when downwind wave riding. In gusty conditions the Argo is very manageable and the re-launch is excellent. The Griffin Argo is a great kite and full value for the money and is my one kite quiver. The only other kite I use is my son's 5m Takoon pure when it gets ballistic.

I only use my in wind range 15-30 knots no problem.
It's the only kite i have but about to upgrade to either
Gaastra Jekell 5 8m & 10m
or
