Query waters for learning Perth WA

New to the game been learning down at Melville is there any other piece of water suitable (good winds shallow waters pref) to nail this fantastic sport

Better posting this in newbies or general section, you'll probably not get the replies you want in gear reviews..

You mention "good" winds. Wind is cleaner (less gusty) on the coast.

Also, despite a lot of beginners thinking so, (sense of security etc) shallow water is not necessarily the best for learning, especially after the first few steps. You need to know how to handle things when your kite goes down in deep water. If you've (hopefully) worked through the first few lessons with your instructor, you should be fine. He or she should also give you all the wind & location advice you need plus the do's and don'ts..

If you've not had lessons and all the safety training that goes with it, you'll be a menace to yourself and others anywhere.
