Would go 6m 8m 10m 12m, probably switchblades or rebels. If you can only afford 3, 6/9/12. Bit of overlap between two people in 80kg range, if you mainly tt 7/9/12 will sort you out, boards will determine lot of bottom end.

On top of the information that the other guys asked for, it would also be interesting to know if you all want to be able to kite at the same time?
Given that 82 and 83kg is virtually the same, these two could potentially share kites (at least when it comes to size, given that they have the same preference over riding style and skill level), but only if one is happy to stay back on the beach while the other one is out having fun.

Look a 6-12 m quiver of switchblades would cover most scenarios from 15 knots for 60 kg 8m 80 kg 10/12, 20 knots 60 kg 6m, 80 kg 8/10 25 knots 60 kg could go on 6m, 80kg would be on 8m. Now if you are using surfboard use smaller kite, if on a tt you can probably hold more power. Guess with limited info can only go by what would work for reasonable intermediate Kiter in WA. Now if rank beginner go and all get lessons before contemplating buying anything.
