So I was lucky enough to score the demo Rhino 14 from Em at Windsurf n Snow at Long Reef.
First outing 5pm - 7:30pm at Dolls point. I have only started riding this season and only just learning to jump. Recently with all the wind at Botany I have been overpowered with my 06 Naish Shockwave 16m kite.
Was easily able to control the Rhino 14. It seems in my limited experience a well behaved kite that does what you tell it to do...
First out and back run, I wound up well up wind (the outgoing tide helped) and made it to the found to Towra Island almost in a single tack (would have made it if it had not been low tide)
On the flat water I was just blasting back on forth and experimenting with my enexperinced jumping. One small jump I landed and wound up going very fast downwind. Well I kept turning and low and behold I'm screaming off on the other tack toe-side - first time ever

.
I also now know what a BOOST is

. This thing launched me skyward at once stage like a lunar park ride. Scared the bejesus out of me! Floated down and crashed in a foot of water!. Of course I'm going to try it again.
On the way back through the mega chop just let the kite ride high and cruised back downwind with minimal effort.
So I have bought the kite from Em (they mentioned that a 12m would be a better demo kite)
My company "Angry Koala"
ak.com.au is going to sponsor me

Does anybody know someone that can produce a stick on logo?
Would it affect the kite?
Has anyone used spinnaker tape for logos?
Just recovering from a dog bite but hope to be on the water next week.
If you see a White Rhino 14m with Blue ribs, and old grey haired guy, and a lovely pink 135 07 Nobile 555 say hello and I'll let you take it for a run and you can show me what this kite is really capable of...
BTW the Nobile 555 I find much smoother and easier to hold an edge than the Underground 07 flx 142 (lost at Narrabeen)
So I'm well and truly hooked on this kite surfing (ex windsurfing guy)
