Hi Guys,

Can anyone with experience tell me if the above boots stretch a bit once worn in? I bought the correct size and they seem tight more like snowboard boots. I've been told not to worry by the shop as they loosen up with time. If they don't I've just thrown a load of dollar down the drain!

They will stretch a bit and get a little looser. Any ronix retailer should be able to heat form the inner boot to your foot shape as well. The new ronix ones are super comfy and the best boots around imo.

The Ronix one's will wear in, then wear out in no time at all.

Try not to heat mould them if you can help it, makes them oak out even faster.

Yes they will loosen up a bit. But I found if your toes are hitting the front i.e. they are a bit too short in size then this will not necessarily go away. Biggest improvement is that the laces now work so you don't have to tighten them frequently any longer

After about 12 sessions they soften up and are sweet, as per post above if you get them too small the ends can be pretty unforgiving on your toes. If you get them a little big it is better as you can just tighten them up and it is no problem they won't go anywhere.

Thanks all for the comments and tips. I ended up swapping them for the next size and and getting them properly heated formed to my feet, now they feel amazing! Bring on Dakhla in 2 days :)

It's also worth getting a set of LF laces or similar. The ronix laces lock now but I found they would always come unclipped from the side of the boot when kiting.

Heat mold them with a toe cap on and that will sort you your toes hitting the end.

I've got to say - these are the most comfortable boots I've worn. Having now had 3 sessions in these they are awesome. I was worried that the liner might run around my shins to start with but nothing, great boots.
