Hi all,

Just wondering on what people's thoughts are/experiences have been on North Nuggets? I'm trying to decide between the 5'3" CSC or the 5'2" TT.
I have not been able to find any reviews of the 5'2" TT or any comparisons between the two.
I weigh 95 kgs and generally just want to use it for a bit of light wind fun and in small waves. I'm not sure how the two different shapes affect the light wind capability or whether the shape doesn't make much difference at all?

I have the older 5.5 version and 5.3 CSC and I think they are both awesome boards.

My preference is the CSC, a cracking board.

I have the 5.0 csc nugget as well and had the year model before great board for light wind and upwind best i have used im glad i got the 5.0 instead of the bigger size

I have the 2016 5'3" CSC nugget at 83 litres of shiraz and its definitely a light wind and upwind flyer.

Has given me the ability to go out in at least 5 knots lower wind and have fun with the same kites.

Good decision, you won't regret getting a CSC. Let us know how you like it! The more you ride it, the better it gets!

Best boards I've ever ridden were second hand surfboards - less pressure on the knees as they have a bit of "give", but they also tend to give a bit too much and snap as they were never made for big turns with so much force on the tail. They also tend to snap when you ride into a big ball of whitewash to get over sets and I've boards snapped between my feet as I tried to get over whitewater.

The tomo vader is probably the best manufactured board on the maket for wave riding. I've had bad experiences with other manufactures boards in the past.

Therefore buy a "new" second hand board on gumtree for $60 -$120 every 3-6 months.
